Today I brought this website back to life

Well, hello hello hello, whoever is reading this, i just want to say to you, you are a legend, you are choosing to read a text inside this website, where 99,95 percent of people would not choose read. ( i am  sooo sorry I lied, I made up all the statistics, i don't know if people read blogs anymore).

It's currently 21:32, September 19, I am alone inside the forest in Lithuania. Today I was feeling super down, and all I wanted to do was to rolled up in the ball and just cry, however I remember that I am the creator of my own reality and I decided to transform this energy into a positive one. I wanted to work on my business.

You see after 9 years of living in Morocco, where I spent majority of the summers there I decided to leave. My van registration was finishing and I decided to pack all my jewelry supplies and all the nice dresses and go to Europe. My car needed to be done some paper work in Lithuania so I knew that eventually i will need to go there, it took me around 3 weeks in total to reach this country, ( I did a detour in Portugal, where I worked with a brilliant artist and learned how to solder and make 'proper' jewelry).

Gladly my mum, joined me on this trip so it was less scary, somehow. In total I drove around 6000 km. BY MYSELF. Yes, its crazy, but I am so incredibly proud of me because how do we gain confidence? By doing the hard things. Eventually when I arrived I felt so much emptiness inside me. You see in Morocco I was responsible for many things, also my pets but since I left everything there, in here I was completely alone and by myself, and its not like I wanted to fill this void to not feel this emptiness, oh trust me I gave myself time to do absolutely nothing and just chill couple of days. But eventually I wanted to create. Maybe you know maybe you don't, me and my partner created a shop called 'Unique Shop' in Taghazout Morocco, I was working there making my jewelry and selling it to people face to face. It was sooo lovely, to be honest I was truly filling it my cup, because I didn't wanted to work on the online shop, the outside world seemed more exciting. Eventually I thought to myself, well everyone is online, I guess i need to also appear here, let people know who I am. So I came back to etsy, This website looked too scary to start again. I worked with etsy for a while, and then I decided to give vinted a try, it was alright. But today, today is a special day. After 2 days of no human contact and feeling so low, because after 1 month in Lithuania I eventually understood and made a decision to leave my van in Lithuania( for now) and buy a plane ticket to come back to Morocco. I was so so sad. This van was everything to me this summer. Home on wheels. If I want to go I go. You know I also change a lot of things that needed to be changed, and I put the curtains and everything. I was literally mourning this decision for the last 2 days. but today after listening to Wizard Liz all the morning( damn this girl knows how to make you move)  I decided to transform this sad grieving energy into something that I want to have, and no one can take it away from me. My website. This digital creative place is something that can travel with me and I don't need to leave it.

So welcome back to Gawria.com, here you will find all kind of things made from my own hands, and also reworked pashmina tops at the moment. I also have so many ideas bubbling up in my mind, once I come back to Morocco, I will start working on them, Inchaallah. But for now, I have less than a week here in Lithuania and I am going to use it to the best of my advantage. so stay tuned and see what  I will create.

Current situation in the van life

Thank you for reading all the way through, have a beautiful the rest of the day.

P.S. I will not double check my text for spelling or grammar, I just want to write, because once I become perfectionist I don't do anything anymore, I stuck and I don't want to stuck I want to flow.
